For the next few days, we visited most of the popular tourist attractions in Shanghai, such as the Bund, the Science & Technology museum, the Oriental Pearl Tower, etc. On the fourth day, we took a trainout of Shanghai to a neighbouring town named Hangzhou. It was a scenic town which overlooks the lake. We stayed in a hotel which has a magnificent view, overlooking the lake. In the afternoon, we took a boat ride on the lake and visited the scenic spots which
were small pieces of land in the centre of the lake.
The next day, we did the thing that almost all foreigners do when they go to Shanghai: SHOPPING!!! We took a taxi to the other side of the river name "Pu Xi". We stayed at the other side of the river "Pudong".
There were lots of branded goods going for good discounts and we were spoilt for choices.
After shopping, we were dead beat. As the saying goes: Shop till you drop! I totally agree with it. On the fifth day, we took one day tour to ZhuZhuang. It was a more sparesely populated part of Shanghai, and more backwards too. There were lots of small streams flowing through the area.
We spent the weekends doing shopping together. One Sunday afternoon, we sent our grandparents off to the airport.
